Beach Julianadorp aan Zee

Beach

Julianadorp aan Zee has an enchanting and long sandy beach. The beach is almost four kilometers long and quite wide. Usually you will find a nice spot for a wonderful day at the beach. Even in good weather it is fairly clear here. At every beach entrance there is a spacious parking lot.

On the beach there are two beach pavilions. Beach pavilion Zee van Tijd, entrance De Zandloper & Strandpaviljoen Paal 6 at Strandslag, these are both open all year round.

Strandslag Julianadorp

Strandslag Julianadorp is the largest and most famous beach entrance of Julianadorp aan Zee. Here is also Beach Pavilion Paal6 where you can enjoy a drink or eat from the extensive menu. Toilets are located at the beach pavilion but also at the beach post including a disabled toilet. There is a guarded beach post of the SSN /Rescue Brigade in the summer season. You can rinse yourself off at the beach post under a beach shower. There is also a beach wheelchair on the beach post. The wide beach has the Blue Flag in recognition of the fact that the beach is clean and safe.

Nudist beach

Do you like nude recreation? On the beach this is possible in two places, namely at Strandopgang Drooghe Weert between the beach poles 8.40 and 9.40 and at Strandopgang Falga between the beach poles 4.09 and 5.00. The nudist beach at Falga can be found immediately on the left. Unfortunately, there are no facilities at this beach, but if the weather is very nice, an ice cream truck will regularly pass by. This sandy beach has to do without lifeguards. So be careful when you go into the sea and certainly do not do this near the breakwaters because of the strong current.

Also for disabled people

The access road to the beach is paved and easily accessible with a wheelchair. In the beach pavilion there is a separate beach wheelchair with which you can easily drive on the beach. You can reserve this in advance by calling 0031 (0) 223-644099.
