What can you do from Julianadorp?

Take a trip to the port city of Den Helder with the famous Navy Museum. The three impressive museum ships, including a real submarine, are not to be missed. In addition, model ships, weapons, uniforms and works of art can be seen in the museum.

A stone's throw from Julianadorp is a special attraction: Fort Kijkduin in Huisduinen, which dates back to the time of Napoleon. The building houses a historical museum and a North Sea aquarium with a 12-metre-long tunnel.

Want to visit an island? From Den Helder you can easily take the ferry to the beautiful Wadden island of Texel. After a crossing of about 20 minutes you can explore dunes, forests, nature reserves and the 30 kilometer long beach by bike.

Or visit the neighboring seaside resort of Callantsoog with its long white sandy beach and adjacent nature reserves such as the swan water. Golfers can indulge themselves at the Dirkshorn Golf Course. The challenging 18-hole golf course (par 72) is located in the middle of the typical North Holland polder landscape. During your holiday in Julianadorp, take the opportunity to try out new water sports.
