SAIL DEN HELDER 29 JUNE TO 2 JULY 2023
In 2023 Sail will take place again in Den Helder! Again in combination with the Navy Days that will be organized by the Royal Netherlands Navy. For five days, the port of Den Helder will be the setting for the largest nautical public event at the end of June. During Sail Den Helder you can enjoy impressive Tall Ships and the nautical atmosphere of yesteryear.
Den Helder has a long and successful history together with Sail Den Helder. Den Helder has successfully organized Sail Den Helder five times in the past; in 1993, 1998, 2008, 2013 and 2017. And now a sixth Sail Den Helder from 29 June to 2 July 2023!
Party in Den Helder
During Sail, from early in the morning until late at night, different performances take place on three stages and there are all kinds of mobile acts on the site. During Sail Den Helder various cruises on the traditional sailing ships are organized and there is a cozy fair. Every evening ends with a large fireworks display in the harbour.
UNIQUE PLATFORM
SAIL Den Helder 2023 will – in combination with the pre-SAIL's on Texel and in Hollands Kroon and with the Navy Days – be a great maritime party. Not only for the inhabitants of the Noordkop but also for visitors from far beyond. The combination with the Navy Days makes SAIL Den Helder unique compared to other SAIL events. SAIL Den Helder is also a platform and offers a stage. Energy transition, innovative maritime technology and protection of the maritime environment are the underlying themes on which SAIL, together with the Royal Netherlands Navy, offers a platform for the participating companies, agencies and governments.

From Julianadorp it is 10 minutes away by car or about half an hour by bike through the beautiful surroundings of North Holland.
